The Golden Bachelor ain’t so golden anymore!

The Golden Bachelor doesn’t seem so golden anymore! If you remember the popular TV dating series “The Golden Bachelor” starring the golden man himself, Gerry Turner! Well after the series ended and he married Theresa Nist, the story seemed to ride off into the sunset, as we like most dating shows to do!

Well things have changed, and changed quick, as Gerry and Theresa, just three months after their marriage, are filing for divorce!

“He admitted that their decision to separate was motivated in large part by their ‘dedication’ to their respective families - hinting that this has made it incredibly difficult for them to decide on a place to settle down together.”

The couple met on the show, which was an ABC hit spin off of the popular “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” series, and Theresa ultimately “won,” and married Gerry in a large ceremony.

Both have children from past relationships, and though they tried their hardest, could not compromise their decision making to decide where to live that would benefit both of them, it seems.

“The problem is, Theresa can’t just pick up and leave her job, and she has family in New Jersey,’ a source told Life & Style recently. ‘Initially, they thought Gerry could move in with her but that didn’t happen.”
