The beach is one of my fav places to go (or anywhere with water)… something about the sound of the waves crashing, the smell of the salty air, the sand under my feet, OR birds swimming on a lake, and watching fish jump just calms me down. Maybe it’s because I’m a Virgo… (I think it’s an Earth Sign). ~ I love reading books and finally had to go get a library card because I was spending too much money on buying books every week. My fav authors are: Nicholas Sparks and James Patterson. If you know of any good books I should read or authors you like send me the info so I look ‘em up! ~I love to dress up super cute and go out but I can get just as grimy and dirty as a guy can. I’ll go dancing one night in heels and the next day you can find me getting my hands dirty cutting up bait and going fishing or getting mosquito bitten while I’m outside camping! Career: When I went to college I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do… then I realized I used to get in trouble when I was younger for talking all the time… so I decided instead of getting in trouble for talking why don’t I get paid for it? I started working as a part-timer on the weekends in NC and fell in love with morning radio. From there I moved to Saginaw, MI (YIKES it was cold) to co-host my first morning show, and then moved to Vero Beach, Fl to co-host yet again, and now I’m here at the Big Ape!! I love my job but it hasn’t been an easy road… a few people have told me(way in the past) I wasn’t good enough to be in this biz and to that I just think of NeNe’s quote, from The Real Housewives of Atlanta,… “Let tha haters be yo motivators!” One Thing About Me Most People Don't Know: Believe it or not I am not a morning person! It takes me a while to “wake up” and I’m super grumpy at first. But after I have my morning coffee I’m all good…OH and I HATE seafood!! (YUCK!)
