Are These The 10 Greatest Jock Jams of All Time?

Everyone who has ever been to Everbank Field knows there is a tight playlist of “go-to” songs to get the crowd amped up as the Jags attempt to do anything besides go three-and-out.

Chances are if you grew up in the 90’s you owned some of these songs on one of the “Jock Jams” CDs that were so popular during that decade.

There’s always been heavy debate on these tracks though: Do they do the trick of making tens of thousands of fans rise to their feet, or are they too corny to accomplish anything outside of a embarrassing memory or two?

Billboard.com has decided to add fuel to the fire by ranking what they think are the "The 100 Greatest Jock Jams of All Time."

There were five official volumes of the "Jock Jams" series with a total of 107 songs, but this list isn't limited to those. There are even some recent 'jock jams' on the list.

Here's the Top 10:

1. "We Will Rock You", Queen, 1977

2. "Welcome to the Jungle", Guns N' Roses, 1987

3. "Hip Hop Hooray", Naughty By Nature, 1993

4. "Kernkraft 400", Zombie Nation, 1999

5. "Seven Nation Army", The White Stripes, 2003

6. "Eye of the Tiger", Survivor, 1982

7. "Rock and Roll Part 2", Gary Glitter, 1972

8. "Jump Around", House of Pain, 1992

9. "Crazy Train", Ozzy Osbourne, 1981

10. "Get Ready for This", 2 Unlimited, 1991

Other songs on the list that feel slightly dated at this point: "Whoomp! (There It Is)", "The Final Countdown", and the 90’s techno mega-hit "Sandstorm"

Since you're probably wondering, C&C Music Factory's "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" is at #25.

You can check out the full list over at Billboard.com.

There's a New Joker Movie in the Works Without Jared Leto

Warner Brothers and DC Comics have a new Joker movie in the works, but it WON'T star Jared Leto, who played him in 2016’s "Suicide Squad".

Apparently, DC wants to make smaller movies that stand apart from the big, interconnected universe that includes "Batman v. Superman", "Wonder Woman", and "Justice League".

This one would tell the Joker's origin story, and it would be set in Gotham City in the early '80s. They're trying to get Todd Phillips to write and possibly direct.

Phillips has a successful track list, however his successes have come in the comedy genre.

Some of his more well-known flicks include the "Hangover" trilogy, "Old School", "Starsky & Hutch", and "Borat".

Sabrina Carpenter Visits The Big Ape To Play Some Tunes And Speak To Fans

Actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter, who is in town for her show at the Florida Theatre, decided to stop by the Big Ape studios for an acoustic session, and fan Q&A.

Sabrina is best known as Maya Hart in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World.

Hit songs like, “We’ll Be the Stars,” “All We Have Is Love,” and the popular YouTube video singles “Can’t Blame a Girl For Trying,” and “On Purpose” gained her an even bigger following.

Her latest release EVOLution, features the radio hits “Thumbs,” and “Smoke and Fire.”

In studio for our listeners she played her song “Why”. Check out her beautiful rendition below:

Sabrina was also gracious enough to do a small question & answer session with Mark Kaye. Check it out here:

If you were lucky enough to be in the room then you might find yourself in the meet & greet gallery below. Click the pic to check out the rest:

This wasn’t the first time Sabrina has been to the Harrell and Harrell Performance Studio. Back in December she joined us for a meet & greet here as well. Click the pic below to see more from that day!

The Most Delicious Ice Cream Flavors Ranked

A new poll had people rank the best ice cream flavors, and we fully expected a boring pick at #1 - either chocolate or vanilla.

Apparently we're not quite that boring...

More than 5,000 people voted online at the website Ranker, and Cookies and Cream took first place!

Here are the others in the top ten:

  1. Cookies and cream
  2. Chocolate
  3. Vanilla
  4. Mint chocolate chip
  5. Strawberry (Neapolitan with vanilla, chocolate, AND strawberry came in 12th)
  6. Chocolate chip
  7. French vanilla (If they'd lumped it in with regular vanilla, it probably would have come in first, but they're different though - real "French vanilla" ice cream has eggs in it)
  8. Rocky road
  9. Coffee
  10. Peanut butter cup

Voting has been officially closed on the topic, but that doesn’t mean you can’t debate below. Tell us what you think got the snub!

A Chart Ranking the Best Types of French Fries Is Creating Major Controversy on the Internet

Back in March of last year, a website called Food Republic put together a chart where they subjectively ranked a bunch of types of French fries from best to worst.

Apparently no one noticed the chart until this weekend, when someone tweeted about it, and now it's tearing the Internet apart.

As far as we can tell, not a SINGLE person has responded, "Hey, great rankings, you guys nailed it."

People seem to have issues with everything on this list, most notably:

  • The disrespect of putting curly fries sixth
  • Counting tater tots as fries
  • Not including poutine
  • Giving shoestring fries any spot on the list other than dead last.

Tell  us below what you think of the “controversial” Fries Chart!
