Jacksonville, FL — Out of caution for the bad weather we’re expecting from Hurricane Michael, some local school districts are calling off after school activities Wednesday.
In Clay County, classes will take place as normal, and District Offices will be open. The YMCA After School Program will not be affected, but any other after school activities have been called off.

Duval County likewise says schools will be open Wednesday, and Extended Day programs will operate as normal, but all other after school activities- including sports and clubs- are canceled.
School will be open on Wednesday, Oct. 10. Extended Day programs are also operating as normal. However, all after school activities including athletics, clubs and other programs are cancelled. Baker County has schools closed and classes canceled Thursday and Friday.
