The Southern Delta Aquariids and the Alpha Capricornids meteoroid shows will peak Wednesday night into Thursday morning lighting up the sky, astronomers say.

According to the American Meteor Society, the Southern Delta Aquariids will send some 12 meteors per hour on average in the Southern sky, while the Alpha Capricornids will produce about five per hour. The Alpha Capricornids show will likely be much brighter.

To catch the show, start looking for the meteors about an hour or two before dawn.
