Jacksonville is adding a new mini golf venue in Springfield and unveiling a major manatee exhibit at the Jacksonville Zoo — here’s the 9OH-411 with Jacksonville’s unofficial internet mayor Josh Rogers!
Jacksonville is adding two exciting, family-friendly attractions that are worth putting on your radar. First up, Downtown Springfield is getting a new 18-hole mini golf venue that blends indoor and outdoor fun with a food hub, bar, coffee shop, desserts, and live music. Designed as a true community hangout, it’s the kind of spot where families can enjoy game night while still giving adults a place to relax and connect.
Meanwhile, the Jacksonville Zoo is unveiling a brand-new entrance on March 6th featuring a massive 33,300-gallon manatee river tank that can house up to 20 manatees. Even better, the exhibit will double as a rescue and rehabilitation space, making it both entertaining and meaningful. Together, these additions show Jacksonville continuing to invest in fun, engaging experiences for families across the 904.
