🕰️ Daylight Saving Time Is Over . . . and 54% Want It Gone for Good! 😴

It’s that time again, we “fell back” this weekend🍂⏰but it looks like America’s patience with the clock-changing madness has officially run out.

According to a new poll, 54% of Americans want to end Daylight Saving Time for good! 🙅‍♂️🕑 Only 40% still want to keep the switch, and support for the twice-a-year time change is now at an all-time low.

Luckily, most of us didn’t have to crawl around the house turning clocks back this weekend (thank you, smartphones 🙌). But people are still tired of losing or gaining sleep just because the government says so.

💬 A few years ago, it looked like Congress might finally fix it — there was even bipartisan support! But, like most things in D.C., it’s been stuck in gridlock. The main debate now: should we make Daylight Saving Time permanent (more sunlight in the evening ☀️), or stick with Standard Time (brighter mornings 🌅)?

Right now, 56% of Americans want to keep the later summer hours year-round, while 42% prefer Standard Time.

Either way, it seems like everyone’s ready to stop the endless clock chaos. ⏳💤
