That’s exactly what happened to Leo Humphries, a 25-year-old from Houston who landed a big shot at a “large national” company looking for a news reporter. He was pumped. Dressed sharp. Camera rolling for his TikTok followers.
But when the video interview started—surprise!—his interviewer was a glitchy A.I. voice that kept repeating the same line in a loop. Leo never even got the chance to answer a single question before the bot thanked him for “sharing” and abruptly ended the session.
Then came the follow-up email… and it somehow got worse.
The company emailed him saying:
“Hi, Henry… It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday. We were impressed by your passion for storytelling and your wonderful energy..."
