He said, “I was on Lil Wayne and Eminem’s album in the same year, y’all. I retire. It’s over, y’all. I quit the music business. This is my last tour ever. I can’t do anything cooler.”
And honestly? He might be right.
Jelly Roll, who originally started his career as a rapper, first appeared with Eminem on the “Tobey” remix. Now, he’s featured on Lil Wayne’s brand-new album The Carter VI, on a track called “Sharks” alongside Big Sean.
That’s two GOAT-level co-signs in the same year—and a dream come true for Jelly, who’s now out on the road with Post Malone on the Big A** Stadium Tour.
Retirement? Nah. But a well-earned mic drop? Absolutely.
