😬💭 Our Most Common Regrets… and 22% of Us Don’t Have ANY!

Today is National Go With Your Gut Day! 🧠❤️

And that can mean two things: trusting your instincts… and taking care of your digestive system. 😂

So today, we’re talking about life regrets.

You know, those moments where you think:

“Man… I probably should’ve done that differently.” 😬

A new poll asked people what their biggest regret in life is related to, and the answers are pretty interesting.

😌 22% Say They Don’t Have Any Big Regrets

Honestly… good for you! 😂👏

22% of people said they don’t have any big regrets.

Either they’ve genuinely lived a very fulfilling life…

Or they’re just REALLY good at convincing themselves that everything was fine. 😂

💔 15% — Romantic Relationships

The biggest specific category was romantic relationships, with 15% saying their biggest regret is related to love. ❤️‍🩹

Bad breakup?

The person you should’ve stayed with?

The person you absolutely should NOT have dated?

We’ve all got that one relationship where we think:

“Yeah… let’s not talk about that.” 😂

💼 10% — Career or Work

Another 10% said their biggest regret is related to their career or work.

Maybe they didn’t take the job.

Didn’t ask for the promotion.

Stayed somewhere too long.

Or said “I’ll figure it out later” about their career… and then suddenly it’s five years later. 😬

👨‍👩‍👧 8% — Family Relationships

8% said their biggest regret is related to family relationships.

Sometimes it’s something you said.

Sometimes it’s something you didn’t say.

And sometimes it’s just wishing you’d spent more time with someone. ❤️

💰 7% — Money

7% said money was their biggest regret.

That could mean a bad financial decision, not saving enough, or looking back at something you bought and thinking:

“WHY DID I THINK I NEEDED THAT?!” 😂💳

🎓 6% — Education

6% said education was their biggest regret.

Maybe they didn’t finish school.

Maybe they didn’t take school seriously.

Or maybe they still have nightmares about that one class they absolutely refused to study for. 📚😭

👶 5% — Children

5% said their biggest regret was related to children.

🏥 4% — Health

4% said their biggest regret was related to their health.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 4% — Friendships

And 4% said friendships were their biggest regret.

Then another 8% picked something else. 🤷‍♂️

🤔 Did You DO It… or NOT Do It?

The poll also asked whether people’s biggest regret came from something they did or something they didn’t do.

And this one’s interesting:

👉 25% said their biggest regret was something they did.

But…

👉 37% said it was something they didn’t do.

So apparently, for a lot of people, it’s not necessarily the stupid thing you did…

It’s the thing you wish you’d had the guts to do. 😬

🔄 Can You Still Change It?

Finally, people were asked whether their biggest regret is something they can still change.

15% said it’s something they CAN still change. 💪

But 47% said it’s something they CANNOT change anymore.

And honestly, that’s probably the hardest kind of regret—the stuff you can’t go back and fix.

Which is why today might be a pretty good day to go with your gut. ❤️

Take the chance.

Make the phone call.

Say what you’ve been meaning to say.

Or maybe… don’t order the Taco Bell at 2 A.M.

Because some regrets are emotional.

And some regrets are just heartburn. 🌮😂
