Concourse B Sets Opening Date:
Travelers flying through Jacksonville International Airport will soon have a new concourse to explore.
The airport’s new Concourse B is scheduled to open January 28, adding six new gates, five being exclusively for American Airlines flights.
The new concourse will feature several amenities for travelers, including a children’s play area, pet relief area, nursing rooms, lounges and additional food vendors.
It will also include ground-boarding capabilities and has been designed with room for future expansion.
Meanwhile, construction is underway on a third parking garage, which will add 2,000 parking spaces at the airport opening later this year.
Jaguars’ Stadium of the Future Sales Center:
Jacksonville Jaguars fans can now get a closer look at what’s planned for the team’s future home.
The Stadium of the Future Sales Center at 501 Touchdown Drive, on the former Jacksonville Fairgrounds site, is now accepting appointments for current and prospective season ticket members.
The sales center allows fans to preview seating and hospitality options for the renovated stadium, which is planned to open for the 2028 season.
Visitors can experience an immersive 180-degree visualization and interactive stadium previews to get a better idea of what the new venue will look like.
Ticket sales will be rolled out in phases, beginning now with premium seating.
Dalmoros Fresh Italian Headed to Five Points
If fresh pasta is more your speed, there’s a new restaurant to check out in Jacksonville’s Five Points neighborhood:
Dalmoros Fresh Italian is opening near Park Street, offering fresh pasta made right in front of customers in less than five minutes.
The menu includes fresh pasta, homemade sauces, sandwiches and desserts. Customers can also pick up pasta options to take home.
The restaurant offers gluten-friendly pasta choices, and diners can customize their meals with different toppings.
