You read that right. MrBeast, aka the world’s most generous YouTuber and now billionaire, just admitted he had to borrow money from his mom… to help pay for his wedding.
The 27-year-old content king, known for giving away houses, cars, and literal islands, replied to a post online that called him the only billionaire under 30 who didn’t inherit his fortune. And instead of flexing, he humbled up real quick.
“I personally have very little money because I reinvest everything. I think this year we’ll spend around a quarter of a billion on content,” he wrote.
Yup. A quarter billion. On videos.
Then he casually dropped the bomb:
“Ironically I’m actually borrowing from my mom to pay for my upcoming wedding lol.”
Wait—what?! MrBeast, worth an estimated $1 billion, asking his mom for a wedding loan like he’s just trying to reserve the local VFW hall?
He went on to clarify that, on paper, he owns businesses worth a lot. But in his bank account? Not exactly poppin’ off right now.
Moral of the story? You can be a billionaire and still be Venmo-ing your mom for help.
