Even if you LOVE holiday shopping, everyone has that one person who makes you stare at store shelves in despair. 😵💫🛍️And let’s be honest… it’s probably grandpa.
A new poll asked people: “How easy or difficult do you think it is for others to pick out gifts for you?”
Here’s how it broke down:
- 🟢 20% said very easy
- 🟢 38% said relatively easy
- 🟡 21% said kinda difficult
- 🔴 9% admitted they’re very hard to shop for
When you look at the demographics, one group stood out above the rest:👉 Men over the age of 65 were the MOST likely to admit they’re a shopping nightmare. 😬👴
On the flip side, the people most likely to say they’re easy to shop for?✨ Southern women between 30 and 44. Drop the hint, ladies. 😉
The poll also asked another important question: “How good are YOU at picking out gifts for other people?”
The answers:
- 🎯 20% said very good
- 👍 48% said somewhat good
- 😕 16% said somewhat bad
- 😬 7% said very bad
And once again… Boomer men took the L. They were ranked as the worst gift buyers overall. 🧾❌
So to recap:
- Hard to shop for? ✅
- Bad at shopping for others? ✅
- Great at wrapping presents? …also nope. 🎁🌀
Boomer men were ALSO the group most likely to admit they’re terrible at wrapping gifts. Overall, 61% of people say they’re at least decent at wrapping… while 34% say they’re not great — and almost half admit they’re just plain bad at it. 😅📦
Maybe it’s time to let grandpa just buy his own gift…And hand the wrapping over to literally anyone else. 🎄😂
