Yup — according to a new survey, 92% of employees at vape shops and weed dispensaries said they feel “good” or “amazing” about their jobs. That’s the highest score out of any hourly gig surveyed.
Makes sense. If your coworkers are chill, your customers are mellow, and you’re surrounded by snacks and good vibes... what’s there to complain about?

- Weed & Vape Shops – 92% happy
- Catering Gigs – 91% happy
- Cafés & Coffee Shops – 90% happy
- Dentist Offices – 90% (okay, a little surprising?)
- Gyms – 89% (maybe it’s the endorphins)
Even hourly workers at community centers, sit-down restaurants, and GUN STORES made the top of the list for happiness. (Apparently, folks at the gun counter are either super satisfied or super stressed — there’s no in-between.)
💊 And the Most Miserable Jobs?
If you’re working at a pharmacy, chances are you’re not feelin’ the vibes. Pharmacy techs came in DEAD LAST when it comes to job satisfaction. Rounding out the bottom five were:
- Postal Workers & Amazon Drivers
- Veterinary Clinics
- Doctor’s Offices
- Pretty much anything in healthcare
Blame it on long hours, emotional burnout, and dealing with people who really need their prescriptions... yesterday.
So if you’re burnt out and dreaming of a job where the customer says “thanks” instead of “I wanna speak to your manager,” maybe it’s time to trade your lab coat for a vape pen.
