You’ve probably seen it, the massive 12-foot skeletons (hi, Skelly 👋💀), ultra-lifelike witches 🧙♀️, creepy demons 😈, and even realistic blood and gore. Some parents say things have gone from spooky fun to nightmare fuel. 💀🩸
A lot of families miss the days of simple pumpkins 🎃, ghosts 👻, and friendly spiders 🕷️. But now, some neighborhoods are looking like full-on horror movie sets — complete with dismembered limbs and motion-activated jump scares that talk back. 😨
Even a few adults admit the decorations have gotten a little too real . . . though others argue we’re just more sensitive now that we have kids. 🤷♂️
Whether you think Halloween’s gotten scarier or just more awesome, one thing’s for sure, technology and mass production have taken decorating to wild new heights. 🙌
So if you’re taking the kids trick-or-treating this year, maybe scout the area first . . . unless you want your little ones sprinting home before the candy haul even starts. 🍬🏃♀️💨
👀 What do YOU think — are Halloween decorations too scary now, or is that the whole point?
