💰❤️ Nearly Half Of Americans Would Choose Money Over Love

(Doug O'Brien/Doug O'Brien)

The median U.S. salary is just over $62K… but when it comes to dating, Americans want their partner pulling in six figures. A new survey from Tawkify shows just how much money matters in love.

👉 Here’s the breakdown:

  • Women want their partner to earn about $110K on average 💎
  • Men expect around $90K 💵
  • 25% say their ideal partner should make $150K+ 🤯
  • 10% are looking for $250K 💼
  • 1 in 20 are holding out for a baller making $500K+ 🤑

And get this…

  • If forced to choose between love or money, 46% pick money.
  • 1 in 3 admit they’d even take an ex back if they hit the jackpot 💔➡️💸.
  • 69% have stayed in a relationship longer than they wanted just because of shared finances 💳.
  • Oh, and 48% say they wouldn’t even date someone without a job… even if they were super attractive 🚫👀.

Brie Temple, Tawkify’s chief matchmaker, summed it up perfectly: “Women, in particular, are saying things like ‘I’m not interested in being a nurse or a purse.’” 👜💉

So… would YOU pick true love 💕 or financial security 💵?
