Apparently, some of us are living in fantasyland this spooky season ๐ โ because a new poll found that 1 in 6 Americans actually think their pets enjoy dressing up for Halloween. ๐
Yep. According to the survey, 16% of people swear their furry friends like or even LOVE wearing costumes ๐พโจ. Another 24% think their pets donโt mind it too much . . . while a big 45% admit their animals definitely hate it. ๐พ๐
The poll didnโt separate cats from dogs (but letโs be real โ cats arenโt exactly fans of your costume ideas ๐ค๐). Meanwhile, dogs might tolerate the bumblebee wings ๐ or hot dog outfit ๐ญ long enough for a few Instagram pics. ๐ธ
๐ฌ Fun fact: Around a third of Americans have dressed up their pets before โ or plan to this year. And not surprisingly, Gen Z leads the pack, with 35% saying theyโll put their pets in costume . . . compared to just 18% of seniors. ๐ต๐พ
๐ญ As for 2025โs top-trending dog costumes? According to Google Frightgeist, itโs Labubu and Derpy the Tiger from KPop Demon Hunters! ๐ฏ๐ฅ
So whether your petโs rocking a spooky โfit or giving you the side-eye from under that pumpkin hat . . . just remember โ treats first, photos later. ๐ฌ๐ท๐พ
