What's the worst one word text you can receieve?

Most people have many opinions on receiving one word text messages; if you aren’t as tech savvy, and don’t understand the complexity of texting and DM’ing, sending or receiving a one word text, but many people find, that getting a one worded text message from someone, might just be the worst thing to happen to them in a conversation.

So what is the WORST one worded text message you can get back? Is it “yup,” no. Is it “k,” no, its not that either. Turns out, the worst text message you can receive is “sure.”

A comedian recently shared a screenshot of a text where her brother said, “sure” to something . . . and she said, “If [you’re] bringing ‘sure’ attitude, then let’s not do it.”  The brother said “LOL,” and she replied, “I’m not kidding, lol.”

Over 800,000 people have seen the post, and it got more than 11,000 likes.

Some agree . . . saying “sure” can sound passive-aggressive.

But others don’t understand, arguing “sure” is an “easy and breezy” affirmative . . . and “shouldn’t be associated with sarcasm and attitude.”

Now there’s no actual science behind whether or not “sure” is the worst word you can receive from someone in a text, but given the attention towards the post over the last few days, we’re all but certain, people hate getting “sure” in a text.

What’s your least favorite text to get?
