St. John’s County is getting some exciting new additions, and both are all about turning everyday experiences into something more enjoyable. First up, a brand-new Publix in the Silverleaf community is making headlines as the largest in Florida — and it’s not your typical grocery store. This location features a Publix Pours bar serving beer, wine, smoothies, and acai bowls, along with expanded grab-and-go food options and café-style seating. It’s designed to feel less like a chore and more like a place you actually want to hang out, bringing a whole new vibe to grocery shopping in Northeast Florida.
Meanwhile, over in Springfield, a historic building is being transformed into a new food and event venue that’s set to become a community hub. The space will host local vendors, markets, concerts, and events, all while keeping the character of the original structure. With room for 10–20 food vendors and an outdoor lawn for gatherings, it’s another sign that the Jacksonville area continues to grow in a way that brings people together. Between the new Publix experience and this revitalized venue, it’s clear the local scene is leveling up.
