9OH-411: New Soccer Stadium and Experiential Learning Center Announced for JAX!

Sporting Club Jacksonville Announces Site for Mixed-Use Sporting District to Serve North Florida (Sporting Club Jacksonville)

Jacksonville continues to grow, and two new projects could have a big impact on the city’s future. Plans were recently announced for a new 15,000-seat professional soccer stadium for Sporting Club Jax, set to be built near the St. Johns Town Center between St. Johns Parkway and St. Johns Bluff. The stadium will anchor a larger sports and entertainment district that could include restaurants, retail, hotels, residences, and public green space — creating a new hub for soccer matches, concerts, and community events.

At the same time, Jacksonville is also investing in the next generation. A new Junior Achievement Experiential Learning Center is planned for the FSCJ downtown campus, a $15 million project designed to serve about 30,000 students each year. The center will give students hands-on experience managing budgets, earning paychecks, and exploring different career paths through simulated real-world businesses. Together, these projects highlight Jacksonville’s focus on both community growth and preparing students for the future.
