Five of the Rudest Things You Can Do at a Movie Theater

Summer blockbuster season is officially here — and that means packed theaters, epic previews, and someone behind you crunching M&Ms like their life depends on it.

So whether you’re heading out to catch a Marvel sequel or a rom-com with questionable reviews, here’s your movie theater etiquette refresher — because apparently some of y’all forgot how to act:

🎬 5 Rudest Things You Can Do at the Movies:

1. Arriving late. If the previews are already rolling, your time is up. No one wants you stumbling down the aisle with your popcorn flashlight moment.

2. Talking or snacking loudly. This isn’t your kitchen. We don’t need surround-sound commentary or the ASMR of you opening Twizzlers during the most emotional scene.

3. Using your phone. Even dimmed screens are distracting. If the movie’s that boring, just go home and scroll in peace.

4. Putting your feet up on someone else’s seat. This ain’t your recliner, and unless you bought that extra seat, keep your shoes off the furniture.

5. Leaving your trash behind. You brought it in — be decent and take it out. You’re not auditioning for “America’s Sloppiest Guest.”

Bottom line: Summer movies are supposed to be fun, not frustrating. So chill, enjoy the film, and don’t be that person who makes everyone else’s experience worse.
