Is Cyber Monday Even a Thing Anymore? Black Friday Just Broke a HUGE Record 💻💰

Happy Cyber Monday! 🛒💥But… is Cyber Monday still special? Or did Black Friday steal the show?

According to Adobe Analytics, Americans set a NEW RECORD this year —💥 $11.8 BILLION spent ONLINE on Black Friday alone. That’s up 9% from last year’s $10.8 billion. 🤯

The peak was between 10 AM and 2 PM, when Americans were collectively spending…👉 $12.5 MILLION PER MINUTE.

Also wild: we spent another $6.4 billion online on Thanksgiving Day — like people were literally shopping between bites of turkey. 🦃📱

📱 More than HALF of all Black Friday online sales happened on phones this year.🛍️ And in-store shopping continues to drop because, honestly, why fight crowds when you can shop from the couch? (Or… let’s be real… from the toilet to escape your relatives. 🚽📦)

Some experts do say the record might be partly because of higher prices, not just more shopping… but still — MASSIVE numbers.

So yeah… Cyber Monday might be losing its crown, because apparently every day is “Buy Stuff While Sitting on Your Couch” day now. 😅
