πŸŽΈπŸ˜‚ The Only Way Gen X Will Go to Concerts Again

Gen Xers have spoken... and apparently, concerts need to change. πŸ˜‚πŸŽΆ

A concert promoter recently posted a video asking Gen X a very simple question:

β€œWhat’s it going to take to get you guys going out again?”

Luckily, comedian Dan Regan had some answersβ€”and honestly, Gen X might be onto something. πŸ˜‚

Here are the demands:

🎟️ 1. Bring Back Physical Tickets

Gen X wants the ticket stub.

πŸ“± Cell phone tickets = anxiety.

What if the barcode doesn’t scan? What if there’s no cell service? What if your phone dies?

Plus, physical tickets make a much better souvenir. 🎟️

πŸ‘“ 2. Throw in Some Reading Glasses and Ibuprofen

Apparently, buying a concert ticket should now come with:

πŸ‘“ Complimentary reading glasses

πŸ’Š Ibuprofen

Because you’re not 25 anymore, and somebody’s going to have a sore back before the encore. πŸ˜‚

πŸͺ‘ 3. MORE CHAIRS

This might be the biggest demand.

Chairs.

Gen X would apparently attend a LOT more concerts if they didn’t have to stand for three straight hours. πŸ˜‚πŸͺ‘

You want us to rock? Fine.

Just give us somewhere to sit down between songs.

🚽 4. Cleaner Bathrooms

And please...

NO MORE PORT-A-POTTIES.

If you’re charging $100+ for a concert ticket, Gen X would like a bathroom that doesn’t look like it belongs at a construction site. πŸ˜‚πŸš½

πŸ’° 5. Fine the Band for Being Late

This one is fantastic.

The suggestion?

Fine the band $1,000 for every minute they’re late getting on stage. πŸ’ΈπŸŽ€

Because Gen X doesn’t have time for a band to β€œmake an entrance.”

If the show says 8:00...

START AT 8:00.

Somebody’s got to be in bed by 10:30. 😴

🌞 6. Start Concerts at 3 PM

Spring or summer concert?

Start it at 3:00 PM.

End it by 6:00 PM.

That way everyone can:

πŸŒ… Enjoy the showπŸš— Drive home before darkπŸ›οΈ Get to bed at a reasonable hour

Honestly, this sounds less like a concert and more like a very aggressive early-bird special. πŸ˜‚

πŸ“΅ 7. LOCK UP THE CELL PHONES

And finally...

TAKE THE PHONES. πŸ“΅

Gen X doesn’t want to spend an entire concert staring at 20,000 people holding their phones in the air.

They’re there to watch the bandβ€”not watch somebody record the entire show vertically for Instagram. πŸ˜‚

🎸 Gen X’s Perfect Concert

So apparently, the ideal Gen X concert looks like this:

🎟️ Physical ticketπŸ‘“ Reading glassesπŸ’Š IbuprofenπŸͺ‘ Plenty of chairs🚽 Clean bathroomsπŸ’° Bands that aren’t late🌞 Show starts at 3 PMπŸ“΅ No phones

And honestly...

That sounds less like a concert and more like Bingo Night at the retirement community. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

But if that’s what it takes to get Gen X back in the crowd...

LET THEM ROCK. 🀘🎸
