In one of the most what-did-I-just-read? headlines of the week, a woman in Springfield Township, Ohio, was pulled over by police — and they discovered a raccoon in the driver’s seat, holding a meth pipe like it was just another Tuesday.
The woman, 55-year-old Victoria Vidal, was stopped for a routine traffic violation. Officer Austin Branham was in the middle of arresting her when he returned to the vehicle and saw the raccoon — yes, a real one — gripping the pipe like it was about to take a hit and pass it to the passenger seat.

The raccoon’s name? Chewy. The vibe? Absolutely unhinged.
Police say they found meth, crack cocaine, and multiple pipes inside the car. Vidal now faces felony drug charges, and Chewy the raccoon was taken into custody — by animal authorities, not the DEA, don’t worry.
Thankfully, Chewy is safe, and reportedly not facing charges (unless possession counts when you’ve got tiny paws).
