In the original track, Kahan sings about “hanging with the cops in the cold.” For the Kidz Bop version, the lyric was changed to “hanging with my friends in the cold” to make it more kid-friendly.

After hearing the updated line, Kahan jokingly shared his reaction on social media, poking fun at the specific lyric substitution:
