If you said your dog, you’re not alone. According to a new survey, 63% of pet owners think their dog has a better social life than they do. Yes, seriously.
The poll, conducted by a doggy daycare company, asked 2,000 people about their pets’ social calendars — and the results might make you rethink your weekend plans.
Here’s what they found:
🦴 63% said their dog hangs out with friends more often than they do. Whether it’s the dog park crew, neighborhood walk buddies, or daycare playmates — pups are out here making moves.
🐕 54% claim their dog has an actual “friend group”.
🐾 69% say their dog has a “best friend”, usually another dog they vibe with on the regular.
And here’s the wild part — 91% of dog owners believe it’s important for their dogs to have an active social life.
Why? Because social pups are:
- 🐶 Happier
- 🐾 Less lonely
- ❤️ More affectionate
- 💪 Even more confident
So if your weekend plans involve staying in while your dog is out living their best life at the park with three Goldendoodles and a Lab named Kevin… maybe it’s time to catch up. Because let’s face it — right now, your dog’s calendar is booked, and yours is looking light.
