This is a whole new level of drunken regrets.
There’s a 30-year-old guy from Staffordshire, England. We’d say his name is Thomas Dodd, but that’s not quite true anymore.
Because Thomas got super drunk on Christmas Eve and decided to legally change his name . . . to CELINE DION.
He was watching Celine on a TV concert at the time, and he filled out an online application, paid a $120 fee . . . and then went to sleep and forgot all about it.
Then last week, he found an envelope in his mailbox with papers certifying his name change from Thomas Dodd to Celine Dion.
He says he’s planning to KEEP the name . . . quote, “depending on how difficult it makes my life.”
